13th Jan 2022 – Here’s a look back at how far we’ve come

For our first #32Thursday Construction Update of the year, we thought we’d look back at how far we’ve come! 🚧👷🏾.

In April 2021 we celebrated you raising $100k through #32BreaksGround, hosted a block-making demonstration, and hoped against hope that the city would finally approve our plans.

6 months later, the city finally did.

8 months later, we stood on the completed foundation of phase 1!🥳

Next up, our contractors Localworks begin the walls on the site. Using the sample wall as a reference, the first section to be added is a layer of stone masonry. Stay tuned as the walls come up over the next few weeks!
