Project Description
In 2017 Darlyne Komukama spent a month-long residence experimenting with different prints for her photography.
Drawn to reflective, broken surfaces, Darlyne made a series of prints of the same picture, as shown below. She used found materials and sharp objects to change the surface of the photo and its print.
As a solo artist Darlyne’s work has shown and sold at Palate, our silent aucution and supper club, our member’s exhibition, and KLA ART 18, our public art festival. As part of the Salooni Collective, her work has shown at Southbank Centre London, Goethe Institute Ouagadougou and LaBa! Arts Festival in Kampala.
