Eria ‘Sane’ Nsubuga graduated from Makerere University in 2008 with a Masters in sculpture from the Margaret Trowell School of Industrial and Fine Arts. He currently lectures at the Department of Art and Design at the Ugandan Christian University in Mukono and practices in painting, illustration and sculpture.

Sane’s first solo exhbition took place at AKA Gallery in 2002. Since then he has had several successive solo exhibitions in Kampala including AKA Gallery, Afriart Gallery and Alliance Franciase. Sane has exhibited at the KLA ART 012.
