June 10th, 2022 – Our contractors, Localworks are working on a cavity

Fresh from yesterday’s public holiday, here’s this week’s #ConstructionUpdate!

Our contractors Localworks are working on a cavity wall which will act as a separation between the café and the library. These “double walls” provide thermal and sound insulation, key to ensuring a pleasant reading environment for library users. In Phase 2, this library will become an additional studio as we construct a larger permanent library towards the back.
